Brand Bureau has been named as a National Finalist in the Australian Marketing Institute Awards for Marketing Excellence.
The annual Australian Marketing Institute Awards for Marketing Excellence are presented to organisations and marketers who have achieved extraordinary success from innovative and effective marketing practices.
Our “Let’s Get It Sorted” campaign, which supported Golden Plains Shire Council’s community recycling and waste management program, is one of four National Finalists in the Public Sector Marketing category.
This category is about campaigns delivered in the Public Sector.
Entrants must demonstrate along with overall marketing excellence:
Effective use of marketing elements including community insights, brand development, communications, campaign, planning and measurementDemonstrated design thinking creativity in developing and implementing product and service marketing programsDelivery of the marketing strategy and communications programs executed for Public Sector institutionsReturn on marketing expenditure
We are absolutely delighted for our work to be recognised on a national stage. This announcement is further proof of the calibre of Geelong businesses.
Brand Bureau started as a home-based business 10 years ago, and we have grown to have a team of talented employees, a stable of long-term clients and are committed to using local suppliers.
REMPLAN data shows that over $17 billion is spent each year by business, government and the not-for-profit sector in the Geelong and G21 region. Yet less than half of this money is being spent on local suppliers.
Golden Plains Shire Council should be congratulated for engaging a local business to deliver this project, and we encourage any organisation that currently sources goods and services from outside Geelong to rethink their approach to purchasing.
