Dongwha Timbers

The Brief

Early in 2011, Brand Bureau was advised by Dongwha Timbers that construction was poised to commence on the Company’s $74 million sawmill expansion in south-east New South Wales. Community and other stakeholder support was paramount to the success of the project.

The Response

Brand Bureau was engaged to produce, a Strategic Communication Plan, with the primary objective of ensuring all stakeholders to the project (the community, employees, the media, MPs, suppliers and so on) were engaged and positive about the project - before, during and after construction.

Dongwha Timbers then asked us to bring the Communication Plan to life - to implement a range of integrated marketing and communication initiatives for the duration of the project. These activities included:

  •     a major groundbreaking event
  •     social media updates
  •     quarterly newsletters
  •     print advertisements
  •     sponsorship management
